Senior CCTV Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance and security systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, networking basics, and on-site technical support. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related security equipment

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system upgrades

Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV systems, cabling, power supplies, and network connections

Configure IP cameras, network switches, routers, and remote viewing systems

Ensure proper camera positioning for optimal coverage and image quality

Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service reports, and maintenance activities

Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients

Follow safety guidelines and company installation standards at all times

Train clients on basic system operation and maintenance

Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to complete assignments on schedule

Required Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related field

Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role

Strong knowledge of analog and IP-based CCTV systems

Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, IP addressing)

Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Willingness to work at heights and on field installations

Valid driving license (preferred)

Preferred Skills

Experience with access control systems and alarm systems

Knowledge of video management software (VMS)

Familiarity with structured cabling and fiber optics

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Work Environment

Field-based role with installations at commercial, residential, and industrial sites
